This single-storey extension in Worcester Park pairs clean lines with a clever fix: high-grade structural steel beams that protruded from the ceiling were boxed into a suspended ceiling feature, hiding the disruption while helping zone the open-plan space. A seamless media wall gives the room its focal point. A large lantern skylight with an internal lip casts a warm glow in the evenings, and the bespoke kitchen packs underfloor heating and considered lighting into a compact footprint, finished with bi-folding doors and integrated blinds.
